Cars are everywhere in the Loop, and all the emissions from them have been part of the reason why Chicago is ranked 16th worst city in the US for air pollution.
This affects people across all neighborhoods, and with the South Loop representing a communal gathering area, we realized that the idea we needed to create should take this into account.
